Bijay Niwas has three varieties of rooms, namely ‘heritage’ (in the main palace), ‘garden’ rooms and  ‘burj’ rooms. 20 in all including 2 heritage suites, all air conditioned with modern facilities.

The rooms are adorned with original delicately painted walls and ceilings which give the place an air of peace and tranquility. Most rooms contain original period furniture, works of art and early prints of famous contemporary Indian artists like Amrita Sher Gill, Sharda Ukil and Jamini Roy etc.
